The epidote has a beautiful olive-to-forest-green color that catches the light across the textured surface, with quartz crystals nestled throughout for flashes of brightness and contrast. Some of the quartz is clearer and more defined, while other areas blend into the matrix, giving the whole specimen a wonderfully layered, earthy look.
It feels less dark and dramatic than some epidote pieces and more lush, mossy, and straight-from-the-forest-floor. Pretty sure a fairy is required to live here…I don’t make the rules.
