This little palm is basically a tiny topographic map in green, gold, mustard, and blush. The orbicular patterning is SO good, especially that band through the middle with the larger “eye” shapes surrounded by all the smaller yellow dots. Then the top shifts into this crackly mustard-and-pink section that looks completely different from the lower half.
The color zoning is what makes this one special to me. One side reads more olive and mossy, the other has stronger yellow and peach tones, and the orbs scatter across the surface instead of staying in one neat little patch. It has that classic Ocean Jasper weirdness where every turn gives you a different micro-landscape.
Energetically, I’d describe it as Ocean Jasper’s earthier cousin. Still soothing and emotionally supportive, but with more dirt-under-your-fingernails, roots-in-the-ground energy than bubbly beach energy.
